To perform prayers in a
satisfactory manner means, we should question our own selves if we are
enjoying our prayer or not? Or if our prayers are heavy on us?
If one feels these things, it
means something is wrong because, one should enjoy the prayer more than
anything in this world, Why?
During our prayer we are
communicating with our Lord, Allah. This means that Satan is still with
us during prayer, and this is the reason why prayer feels heavy, without
any enjoyment, and we are forcing it upon ourselves. Or during prayers,
our minds go here and there, which loses our concentration towards
Allah. It might be possible that our ablution was not done in a right
manner, or our clothes are not pure, or we do not understand what is
said from our lips.
When we are not clean, so we
are then unable to communicate with Allah, and as a result we are in the
hands of Satan.
One may ask, what is
the solution? How can the prayer of an individual be performed in a
satisfactory manner?
It is important to make sure
that your clothes are clean and pure, because you are meeting your Lord.
And make sure that your clothes and body is clean and tidy.

-
The seat of the toilet
must be cleaned and dry, and water is used to purify your private
parts thoroughly.

O you who believe! When you intend to offer As-Salāt (the
prayer), wash your faces and your hands (forearms) up to the elbows, rub
(by passing wet hands over) your heads, and (wash) your feet up to
ankles[]. If you are in a state of Janāba (i.e. had a
sexual discharge), purify yourself (bathe your whole body). But if you
are ill or on a journey or any of you comes from answering the call of
nature, or you have been in contact with women (i.e. sexual intercourse)
and you find no water, then perform Tayammum with clean earth and
rub therewith your faces and hands.[] Allāh does not want to
place you in difficulty, but He wants to purify you, and to complete His
Favour on you that you may be thankful. (5:6)
-
Wash your hands before
touching your clothes

-
Use soap if available, and
water in order to clean your hands. Use your right hand to open the
tab, before using water. And if no soap is available, then you can
rub your hands thoroughly, or use dry sand, if available.

-
Take water using your
right hand and goggle it in your mouth, and use miswak preferably,
if not available, then a tooth brush, or use your fingers in order
to rub your teeth and gums.
-
Goggle the water three
times.

One can understand the wisdom
behind this action is that when we talk, we inhale air and germs. And
the mouth should be cleaned from any kinds of food, if one cleans his
gums and teeth five times a day, this reduces the risk of bacteria,
which can cause food poisoning as a result, or many other diseases.

-
Use your right hand to
place water within your nostrils, and breath it inside a little,
until you feel it in the area of your forehead, and then use your
left hand with your pinky (small finger) to lift your nostril, and
use your right hand to close the other nostril, and breath out. This
action is required for both nostrils, to hold one side, and to
breath out with the other.
-
Once is a must, however to
do it three times is found in the examples of the Prophet
.

The wisdom behind this is that
all the air pollution we breath in should be cleaned and purified.
Because all typed of diseases are found in small particles in the air we
breath, and today to many diseases are common such as asthma, lung
cancer, bronchitis, ect.

It is important to make sure
you wash your face all the way up to the level of the hair, and to wet
the entire face up to the chin. And rub it, three times. And if you have
a beard, then use your fingers to rub it between the hairs of the beard.
And makesure that no part of the face is dry, and to wash your face is
done three times. Once is a must, and three times is found in the
example of the Prophet
.

When you wash your face three
times, you are saving yourself from many diseases, and from air
pollution, and from particles of saliva from other people. And it is
healthy for your skin cells.

-
Take water in the palm of
both of your hands, and allow it to flow all the way to the end of
your elbow, and makesure the entire arm is wet up to the top of the
elbow, the same action must be done on the left arm also.
-
To do it once is a must,
and three times is a action of the Prophet
.
TO WASH
YOUR HAIR
-
Fill water in both of your
hands, and wash your hair thoroughly while rubbing and massaging
your fingers against your head, and while this is happening you feel
it on the back of your head.
-
Then rub your hands to the
back of your ears,
-
Next bring pinky (little
finger) to the hole of your ears, while rubbing it thoroughly
inside, using your pinky continue rubbing it up to the top of your
ear. Make sure the entire area of the ear is rubbed, cleaned, and
wet. This action is required only once.

When you take your hands, and
with your open fingers while taking it to the back of your head, this
process releases one's stress and tensions, and acts as a massage. And
plus your hair or head which is exposed to open air, contains particles
of air pollution.
And if someone does not
practice Islam, or non-Muslims, they are far away from these benefits,
Why? Because once you go home, for example, you would not take a bath
everyday using shampoo, and you are rubbing all the air pollution on
your pillow, which is then being inhaled by your nostrils, for 6-8 hours
non-stop.
When your ears are rubbed
thoroughly and cleaned, then you can imagine how many times do
non-Muslims or non practicing Muslims get a chance, to rub there ears
thoroughly in there lifetimes, even when one takes a bath, this part is
normally ignored. And because of this
action from Ablution, to clean you ears, saves you from so many ear
infections, pimples, and ear wax.

-
First wash your right
food, while rubbing your toes thoroughly using your finger. And make
sure each and every toe is wet, and the entire foot is wet and
rubbed thoroughly, up to the ankles. The same action is repeated for
the left foot.
-
It is a must to do this
action at least once, or three times according to the traditions of
the Prophet
.

If someone is not a Muslim, or
a non practicing Muslim, then for example, after he or she comes from
work, they are still under the impression that it is not important to
wash there feet. Not many think about the action mentioned above, and it
is ignored by many who claim to be a genius, regardless even if they are
in a medical field.
When one rubs his or hers'
feet, it cleans the feet from any impurities, and relaxes the mind, and
if one is punctual with this, then he or she is saved from things such
as fungus or bacteria, or many other diseases.
Allah (SWT) is our creator,
and He knows our chemistry, so he knows what we will go through in this
world. So he teaches us the way on how to live pure and healthy during
one's lifetime. To follow his orders, we receive benefits only, whether
we follow or not, Allah does not gain or lose, it is only we who do.
If we consider ourselves to be
smart, then we should practice Islam. In order to get these benefits
free of charge.
