Lets realize what is the
modern way to celebrate. Shaytan (Satan) teaches us to stay away from
Allah (SWT).

In
the name of Allah the most gracious the most merciful

Those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allâh, and in the Message of
Prophet Muhammad SAW ], and hinder (men) from the Path of Allâh
(Islâmic Monotheism), He will render their deeds vain[] .
(47:1)
We
are staying away from Allah (SWT) without realization. All parties which
are being arranged to please people are useless efforts. If we sit
inside a party, and talk about politics for example, movies, or other
related topics, we are wasting our time, which we have to answer to
Allah on The Day Of Judgment.

Shaitân (Satan) threatens you with poverty and orders you to
commit Fahshâ (evil deeds, illegal sexual intercourse, sins
etc.); whereas Allâh promises you Forgiveness from Himself and Bounty,
and Allâh is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower.
(2:268)
If this party is not arranged
to learn about Islam, and we are not remembering Allah or passing our
knowledge amongst each other, then there is no difference between us and
non-believers.
There are only two ways, one
is the straight path which will take us to obey Allah who promises
trouble free life, here and hereafter. One is the wrong path which leads
us to sink and drown in this world, this is the path of Shaytan who
misguides us and gives us a guarantee that we will never die and making
sure your world of your life is permanent which how we furnish our
lifestyle
In our parties, as mentioned
in the above ayah, today we are arranging these parties and calling all
friends and relatives, and the guests are talking about topics other
than topics related to Islam, and if we are talking also, the arranger
of that party is responsible, because he or she is the one who arranged
it in the first place. And who did not arrange the prayer (salah) and
the topic in the party about Islam, and did not call people who
practicing Muslims, if the intention of the arranger is not to involve
Islam inside the party from the first place, then the arranger is
responsible for the time wasted at the party by the guests.
WHAT DOES ALLAH TEACH US IN
THE QURAN ABOUT WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE WE SHOULD INVITE TO OUR PARTIES AND
FUNCTIONS?

And keep yourself (O Muhammad SAW)
patiently with those who call on their Lord (i.e. your companions who
remember their Lord with glorification, praising in prayers, etc., and
other righteous deeds, etc.) morning and afternoon, seeking His Face,
and let not your eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp and glitter of
the life of the world; and obey not him whose heart We have made
heedless of Our Remembrance, one who follows his own lusts and whose
affair (deeds) has been lost. (18:28)
Now one should focus the above
ayah in details, what does Allah order our beloved Prophet (SAW), who is
our leader and living example?
Was this message in the Qur'an
only for him? If anyone sees who is the most closest to Allah other than
the Prophet (SAW), and after that the companions?.
If any Muslim claims that he
or she is a Muslim, shouldn't he follow the examples of our beloved
Prophet (SAW), and the order of Allah (SWT)?
If one disobeys any ayah in
the Quran, how can we then even call ourselves Muslim?
What was the manner of
gatherings that involved the Prophet (SAW)?
The Prophet (SAW) use to
prepare food for family relatives, who were not Muslim, and after the
meal the Prophet (SAW) would start explaining Islam, all the guests use
to laugh and leave.
Can anyone check when did the
Prophet (SAW) during his duration of twenty three years of prophecy, who
loved anyone the way the companions of the Prophet (SAW) use to love
him?
Can anyone see when did the
companions of the Prophet, or the tabie'een (the second generation) ever
celebrate the birthday of the Prophet.
In the time of ignorance
before the light of Islam, the parties were full of dance, music, poetry
on worldly matters. Shouldn't we follow what our prophet (SAW) taught to
stay Muslim? Because any action which is an innovation in religion by us
to show we love the Prophet (SAW), I can guarantee no one could love the
Prophet (SAW) more than his companions. We should stop following the
non-believers to celebrate there parties, and to celebrate birthdays,
and anniversaries.
According to the teachings of
our beloved Prophet (SAW), the only two celebrations which are
permissible are the two Eids. The Eid after Ramadan (Eid-ul-Fitr), and
the second Eid for the sacrifice (Eid-ul-adha).
We should teach ourselves and
our children, what is the birthday? Each and every birthday reminds us
that we are going closer and closer towards death. The number of years
which have passed already shortened from our life, and that is only a
dream which has already passed.
We should thank Allah, who has
kept us until know healthy with our body parts functioning properly, and
to make two nafl prayer to Allah. |
